  Liked: Amazing view from the balcony, perfect to watch sunset and chill with dinner in the evening. The decor is quirky (in a good way) and old-school. Great amount of space with a conservatory space and garden to hangout in. There is a good sized shop nearby for essentials and a basic takeaway. Also, a cafe/bar with a fantasies view down the road.

  Disliked: Couple of small maintenance things that I have shared with the owner. She responded, great communication from her.

  Could have been good, if there were no cockroaches in the house

  Disliked: Unfortunately we found cockroaches, 3 of them, inside the house. One walking by the TV, one in the shower, one ON the kitchen countertop. It's gross, you have to worry about it constantly, hence the low review score.

  Relaxing house, great decor and a great location for sightseeing

  Liked: Very comfortable property and we loved the decor, both inside and outside. Very relaxing and homely and we were able to totally switch off. It was also and excellent location to visit a lot of interesting places and our host, Tania, supplied us with lots of recommendations.

  Disliked: The stay was too short-we could have stayed much longer!

  Poorly maintained house

  Liked: Ok location, but requires a car. Good parking space.

  Disliked: Bad maintenance in the house, cockroaches and ants in the kitchen on counter. When mentioning this to the host, she said this is normal due to the climate. The air inside feels moist and dusty, when opening any cupboard or drawer there is a bad smell. In several places doors or the cupboards are broken or not properly attached. The garden furniture is literally falling apart and could not be used. We had to wait for half an hour after the agreed time when checking in. The excuse from the host was that previous customers left the house very dirty and they had to clean. In our opinion they should have checked and fixed this before. One day after checking out we got a rude message from the host that we forgot to turn off some lights after we left. We found pointing this out by her very rude, especially since there was so many broken, dirty and bad maintained things in the house. Will not come back and wouldn't recommend it.

  Exceptional

  Liked: The place is a real gem, has a true madeira-like feeling, has spectacular views from the balcony, peace and quiet, private parking. We had az amazing time here, the location is a bit remote but certainly has its perks and perfect getaway with childrens even or for a group of few. Tania is an excellent host, responsive, kind, helpful.

  Disliked: As this is a house, expect a few roaches, mosquitos, spiders, ants, lizards. The bedroom could use a mosquito net.
