  A unique stay in a fantastic location

  Liked: We stayed on the boat for three nights and really enjoyed the experience. It's something a little different from the usual apartment or hotel stay and we're glad we gave it a go. The location is excellent. The marina has a great choice of restaurants and cafés right on your doorstep, and it's only a 5–10 minute stroll into the centre of Cascais, where there are even more places to eat, drink and explore. The boat itself was spotless and very well looked after. Space is naturally limited, as you'd expect on a boat, and while there were three of us, we felt that four people might find it a bit cramped. That said, it had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the novelty of staying on the water. The only small downside was that we found the beds a little on the firm side, although that's very much down to personal preference. There are two showers on board, but we chose to use the marina facilities instead, which were clean and convenient. One thing that really stood out was the security. Access to the pontoons is controlled, so we felt very safe throughout our stay. Overall, this was a great experience and excellent value in a fantastic location. If you're looking for something a bit different while visiting Cascais, we'd happily recommend staying here.

  We really enjoyed staying on the boat, and we would definitely stay there again!

  Liked: It was fun to stay on a boat! We loved the location! Our favorite breakfast restaurant of our 3 week vacation in several countries was Kafeine in the Cascais Marina where we chose the menu (so much delicious food, a coffee, & a mimosa!). The sheets, towels, & bathroom were very clean.

  Disliked: We couldn’t get the WiFi to work until the 2nd day. I had to unplug it and start it again. It was no problem, though, that we didn’t have it the 1st day. The air conditioning froze up a few times, so we had to leave it off for a while before turning it back on. It would’ve been nice to have some small shampoo, conditioner, & body wash that was fresh since we were traveling tons and couldn’t take much liquids on the plane.

  Enjoyable Stay

  Liked: We knew it was a small space but being on a boat was great instead of a regular apartment or room!!

  Disliked: We had problems with the live tv channels... it was all good since we mostly watched Netflix

  Great marina location. Walkable to everything available in Cascais

  Liked: Great location in the marina. Great views and very quiet. Peaceful. Had everything we needed on the boat.
