  The perfect place to stay when you visit Cascais

  Liked: The location is perfect, in the centre of the old town, within single-digit minutes of the beach and the train station. Cafes, restaurants literally down stairs. Great walk along the ocean to the marina and beyond. While the cafes and restaurants on the street below can be noisy, the triple-glazed windows ensure peace and quiet inside.

  Disliked: Nothing I can think of. My main worry was the noise from the restaurants, but that turned out to not be a problem due to the noise insulating windows. One issue for visitors in the summer months might be the lack of airconditioning, however this was not an issue as we visited in October.

  Wonderful spot in an excellent location in the old city, our host took good care of us

  Liked: Cosy flat in the heart of the old town, central to all, really lovely spot in excellent location.

  Disliked: All was good other than the mattress in the main room was not the best. But we were relatively comfortable.

  A very enjoyable stay in Cascais. B

  Liked: It was great to meet Tiago when we arrived and to have everything explained. The location of the apartment was very suitable and the double/triple glazing meant that we were not disturbed by noise from restaurants beside us. We were very pleased with our accommodation.

  Disliked: There wasn't any negative aspect to Bolina2 Historic Centre.

  Amazing service and communication from the host, spacious and very well located

  Liked: The apartment is so close to everything!!

  Disliked: When I booked I did not know that the apartment is right above one of the restaurant roads in Cascais. It was great and vibey however it does get a bit noisy which was ok because we were in holiday mode. The noise in the lounge is a lot less than the bedrooms due to there being 2 doors to block out sound. If this could be done on the windows in the 2 bedrooms it would be amazing and would help particularly in the main bedroom.
