  Liked: Location was excellent.

  Disliked: Temperature was quite cold and several windows were open upon arrival. We had to figure out the electric and floor heaters to make it comfortable by the next morning.

  Small house with what you do need for comfort

  Liked: No problems. Just as I expected. I was sick for 2 days and it was good to be at this house rather than hotel room. Good beds Some supplies when we arrived and short walk to restaurants etc.

  Liked: The place was close to downtown Cascais and the waterfront. The price was reasonable for the space

  Disliked: Advertised for 7 guests and only slept 6 comfortably. No toilet paper. Not enough towels for all guests.

  Property in need of TLC

  Liked: The hosts were very friendly and responsive and the location of the property was fantastic, very close to the shops, restaurants and beaches,

  Disliked: The property was in need of maintenance in several areas: The doors handles were so stiff that we got stuck in the rooms (guests as long ago as 2 years had mentioned this), the bath did not drain well and the bathroom fixtures and fittings were in need of replacement. Other items such as a shortage of crockery and lack of seating for 6 guests and one of the fans rattling noisily, gave the impression that the owners were just getting by with the bare minimum of care and attention paid.
