  Liked: The host was gracious to provide a high chair, bathtub and crib for us! Great location.

  Disliked: It needs to be stated that plumbing was an issue and the host asked that no paper be flushed. There was a consistent sewer smell and we had to keep the exhaust fan running.

  Liked: The flat is lovely,it is extremely comfortable and has a great location. From the dining table you have the best view of monte Estoril.

  Fantastic location

  Liked: Location was incredible. Yes, it overlooks the railway but train service is fairly minimal and even then the noise is low. The views are directly out to sea and was really beautiful. It took minutes to get to the closest beach. Apartment itself is really nicely done and was very comfortable. Air con in all living and bedroom spaces. The host contacted us a couple of times to check everything was ok. Everything was fine for us but nice to know they are on hand if needed. It’s nice they had cleaning supplies too. After a day on the beach it’s easy to walk sand around and there’s not daily housekeeping so this is actually useful.

  Disliked: The bedrooms let in quite a lot of light from the street outside. Maybe an investment in blackout blinds would help. Also, there’s an extra charge for towels which seems pretty steep, €15pp to get fresh towels. We only stayed a few nights but for longer stays this should really be included. Maybe every 3 days as people will be using the beach etc. It’s very close to a perfect 10, they’ve really done a great job making this flat and it is very comfortable.

  A lovely spacious comfortable apartment

  Liked: A lovely spacious comfortable apartment looking onto the sea. Well appointed just above Monte Estoril station. Trains run every 15-20 minutes to either Lisbon or Cascais. Pleasantly relaxing, very clean and well equipped with all facilities. I look forward to coming back!

  I was only disapponted in myself for not having booked for a longer visit

  Liked: I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Monte Estoril Train Station and would have liked to have lingered longer; however, I had previous plans. Ines, the hostess, was very helpful in all aspects of my all-too-short visit. I shall try to return next year for a longer duration.

  Disliked: Not much.

  Liked: The apartment is tastefully decorated and the kitchen has enough equipment to cook some meals if you choose. The view is amazing and the location is unbeatable. There was also tons of hot water and the bed was very comfortable.
