Liked: The house itself was beautiful and cozy. The host was friendly and inviting. Great location.

Disliked: The photos shown on Booking.com look to have been taken for advertising purposes only. The yard itself has a more "lived in and weathered" feel in person. That did not impact comfort and overall experience but we feel it is important to mention as some people may base the selection of their accommodation on appearance alone.

    Charming place and Lovely people

Liked: All the family was very friendly and the location is very nice and convenient. The pool was a great plus for our kid and the breakfast was good.

Disliked: It was summer so we could sleep with everything open, but the house being already 100 years old there was a lot of humidity. The house is gorgeous and we had a pleasant stay but some refurbishment might be needed soonish. Value for money was very good and we’d still come back!

    Pleasant stay

Liked: Lovely old house with lots of character - quirky and beautifully furnished/decorated. Very good breakfast. Dona Virginia was very nice and very helpful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower. Very nice outdoor space with swimming pool. I had a very pleasant stay, perfect for one night.

Disliked: The only thing I would complain about is the noise from flushing the toilet and the fact that it didn't stop running water. I resolved the problem in my room but one of my neighbours flushed the toilet at 2 am which made a horrendous noise for a very long time. This could have been avoided by respecting basic etiquette not to the flush the toilet between 10 pm and 7 am.

    A magic palace

Liked: I loved everything. Great hosts, magnificent guest house, a lot of soul and love put into it. Would come back anytime. If you're looking for something truly inspiring and original this is your place. If you are looking for corporate blandness and pristine condition then probably look somewhere else. Here you will find a loving family including cats and dogs and a lot of nature...

    Beautiful house

Liked: Beautiful old house with unique decor. Our room was nice and spacious. Breakfast had a good spread of options. We didn’t use pool because it was too cold for us but it looks good and relaxing. The best although was the staff. Very friendly and accommodating people. We felt here like home. It was amazing especially that we traveled with two infants. We all felt welcomed:) they let us check in earlier and check out later and they made sure our whole family was happy:)

    Disliked: Nothing
