  Liked: I traveled solo and had a really great stay at Turismo do Século. ​First of all, the location is unbeatable: the ocean and the beach are literally right there, just steps away. The train station is also right around the corner, making it super easy to hop on a train to Lisbon in one direction or Cascais in the other. It’s peaceful, authentic, and free from overwhelming tourist crowds. ​The room was spotless, tidy, and fresh. Nothing extra, but absolutely everything needed was there, including a properly working shower with great water pressure. ​As for the food: breakfast is simple and honest, nothing fancy-mancy, but good enough to start the day. I also had dinner there — simple, hearty, and satisfying home-style cooking with fish, meat, vegetables, and fresh fruit.But what touched me the most was the human warmth. On my first evening, I arrived late and hungry after traveling. The cafeteria was already closed, but I walked in hoping I could at least buy a couple of apples and pears. The woman working there just smiled and handed them to me completely for free, insisting: "Take them, take them!" because she saw I was hungry. At first I didn't even understand why, but then it clicked: this place belongs to the Fundação "O Século", and the people who work here genuinely carry that spirit of kindness and care. ​And that’s the cherry on the cake: knowing that every euro spent on staying here goes directly to supporting vulnerable children, their shelter, and social programs. ​It’s a wonderful feeling to enjoy the coast while supporting such a noble cause. Highly recommended from the bottom of my heart!

  Pretty basic rooms, with and excellent view and convenient location

  Liked: Lovely, functional room, with seaview and two basic and comfy clean beds. Please note, Turismo do Seculo, offers very well priced rooms, within their Foundation's premises, so in the common areas, you might coincide with youngsters and lovely people working with them. Location is very convenient, a few minutes walk from the beachfront, a few nice restaurants and a small supermarket and ice-cream shop. Only five minute walk from the train station of San Pedro de Estoril, only two stations from Cascais.

  Great place!

  Liked: Location is just perfect. Just 2 minutes from the beach. I had a single room so that brought a lot to my comfort:) Cleanininess if the room was superb. The linen smelled beautifully. The airconditioning worked perfect. And i like the mission of the Foundation.

  Disliked: The sound of the bed. And maybe the breakfast does not have to offered in the price as it is a bit dissapointing. So maybe it doesn't have to be included - it would be just enough.
