  Liked: Very cool and unique experience to stay on a boat in a marina close to the centre and the beach. The boat is very well maintained and breakfast is delivered every morning to the boat.

  Liked: We liked the location. The boat was very well maintained and very comfortable for us. It offered the same conveniences of an apartment. The breakfast was outstanding! Our host, Luis, was very welcoming and accommodating to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend Sunset Rivers for a unique and relaxing stay!

  Disliked: There wasn't nothing that we didn't like about this stay. We were well-prepared for the smaller living space.

  Liked: Spent a few days on the boat, and it was a very pleasant and slightly different kind of experience. Everything was well organized: clean, tidy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. You can tell the owner takes good care of the place and pays attention to details. Special thanks to the owner a very pleasant, calm, and reliable person. Always available, ready to explain everything and help if needed. The format of this stay is a bit different from the usual - it’s not a hotel, but has its own unique atmosphere. It’s a great option if you want a change of scenery and to try something a little different. Only positive impressions. Thank you!

  Special experience

  Liked: We really enjoyed the experiene on the boat, the beach, the delicious breakfast, the view at the marina; especiallly sitting outside on the boat in the morning and evening and just watch over the water. The children loved it too. Luis was very nice and helpful!

  Disliked: The table outside is a bit unstable. It can get very warm inside the boat. Perhaps a stronger fan would be an option?

  Small but perfectly formed - a fantastic start to our tour of the Douro

  Liked: The boat was a brilliant start to our trip driving around the Douro valley. It had absolutely everything you could need and we loved our stay there. It was a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer to really appreciate it and get in a tour. Luis was absolutely brilliant - super responsive to our questions before we arrived, helpful during our stay and went above and beyond to help us find somewhere to get food when the local restaurant closed earlier than they advertised.
