  Deceitful advert! Massive disappointment

  Liked: The location and general decor of the place

  Disliked: All we wanted was a quiet, private and sunny place to recharge our batteries as our house is under construction at the moment. What was sold to us was a private, detached apartment with an outside space which was the main reason we chose it over others available. What we got was the exact opposite! No where on the description and/or, on the message from the host, was ever made clear or even hinted that the outside space was shared, that the other guests would have dogs coming into our apartment and people attempting to open our door. No mention of incredibly steep and narrow stairs, even the dogs were terrified of them. Noise from the other guests and smells making it impossible for us to relax in the tiny living area, as we had no choice but to close the only window available. An incredibly uncomfortable seating "thing" and only 1 cushion which was half empty to make it bearable. All of this left us no option other then to go and stay out even when we didn't want to. We booked and paid for 2 nights but left a day earlier as having to have all windows closed again was not an option. We hardly slept due to mosquitos and the stupid light on sensor that kept turning itself on and pillows far too soft for confort. Broken chair, light in the bathroom didn't work. Awful and very strong smell plugged in, in 3 different places to try and hide the damp musty smell. We unplugged all of them, but, no mosquito plug ins (there was an empty one with a box that was also empty) does the host think the mosquitos are scared of the empty box? I picked up a chair to sit and it literally fell apart. No sugar available which is always available everywhere we stay. No fan, no iron and not a broom in sight. Filthy empty containers and not one small spoon, apart from 2 tiny ones which would be useful for stirring coffee (if there was any sugar) but not to eat a yoghurt unless you want it to last a very looooong time. These things are basic!
