  Excellent location and staff. Would highly recommend

  Liked: Excellent location a few minute walk from Funchal centre with lots of restaurants and shops either side. The staff were so lovely and helpful, they helped us when a tour got cancelled and told us exactly where to go for help. There was free parking on site in a secure car park. The apartment was cleaned for us every day with fresh towels and bed linen. Perfect in every way.

  Amazing place to stay

  Liked: The host was friendly and welcoming. They accommodated a late check in and allowed us to collect our keys from a lock box. They were available via WhatsApp/phone if needed. The staff were friendly and advised us on places to go and an outline of the area. The location was incredible; very central. We felt very secure and safe. This was our first time in an apartment rather than a hotel and we felt it was secure. When the host saw us the following morning, he instantly recognised that we were the ones who had checked in the previous evening. There was a cleaning service provided with fresh towels each day. The apartment also had a lift to be accessible to the higher floors. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room too. It’s a beautiful island and Funchal is a beautiful place to stay. We would have loved to have had longer and will visit again.

  Liked: We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is very well located, close to the city centre, and the room had excellent facilities. We especially enjoyed the lovely balcony, which was a great bonus. A special thank you to the receptionist, who was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful. He kindly allowed us to leave our luggage for a few hours when we returned from the north of Madeira to the south, a week after our check-out, without asking for anything in return. We really appreciated his flexibility and kindness, which made our experience even better. Highly recommended for the location, facilities, and especially the outstanding hospitality!

  Lovely accomodation but maybe needs to highlight what is around the accom

  Liked: Friendly and helpful staff Lovely room with separate bedroom Good air con and kitchen facilities Restaurants and supermarkets a flat walk above the apartments

  Disliked: Non exisistant WiFi Steep hill from town Lack of basic provision like a bottle of water Barking dogs

  You won’t go wrong here

  Liked: Host very helpful, great location, spacious apartment #31, lift. Shops, busses entertainment all within walking distance. Baggage storage and lounge space and toilet to use once checked out.
