Liked: The room was spacious and clean. There was also a clothes drying rack. The shared kitchen had everything we needed, and everything could be used. There were two refrigerators where we could store our own food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely girl helped us with everything, explained a lot, and even helped with information that was not related to the hotel. Thank you so much to her — she is a very kind person! ❤️ There is a bus stop nearby, which is very convenient. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was also clean, spacious, and nice. Thank you! I definitely recommend this place! 😊

Liked: Mariangela was GREAT! punctual, available, welcoming and full of great tips for the best experience in Madeira. The hostel is cozy, clean, and with all necessities. Good big shower. No aircon but a fan is available. Location is good, 5-10 min walk from the center and from good restaurants

Liked: The staff, we met Marieangela, were super lovely and full of great recommendations. They provided towels, a kitchen and even soap and shampoo in the bath.

Disliked: The bed was very soft and had a plastic layer, I suppose to protect the mattress, which made a 'noise' every time you move. If you're not doing it already, bring earplugs, also because you might have the bathroom adjacent to the room and other guests might wake you up with early showers otherwise.

  On site staff were friendly

Liked: It was a quiet safe location. Rooms were a good size.

Disliked: We did not appreciate that there was no self check in when our plane was delayed. We were not reimbursed our night but we were still not allowed to check in - in the morning. If you have a self check out- you could easily have a self check in. It is a money scam knowing there are so many delayed flights.
