  Disliked: Only 3 carparks spaces available for all guests Looks rundown Limited staff Pool in the shade Indoor pool run down No music / in communal areas like pool bar Pool bar drinks served in faded plastic cups.

  An enjoyable stay

  Liked: A beautiful location. It was a short walk to the Forum indoor shopping centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The bed was very comfortable. That means a lot to us. We had a spacious ocean view room with balcony. Nothing to fault it.

  Maderia Regency Hotel

  Liked: Lovely views from our balcony Comfortable bed Good breakfast Staff at reception and breakfast staff were very helpful Courtesy bus that brings you into Funchal- 3 times in the morning, a maximum of 7 people each time Good bus route - Bus 1 and 2 bring you to Funchal. Both sightseeing hop on hop off bus and the airport bus stop just above the hotel.
