  Communicative host, great location, and lovely facility

  Liked: Great location near markets, bars, restaurants and main Funchal without being too busy or crowded. Easy to get out of town to hiking. Facility was spacious and clean, I appreciated having laundry, kitchen, etc. Responsive and communicative host made things very easy.

  Disliked: The host provided detailed directions and photos for checking in and parking, The only difficulty I had was finding the entrance to the parking garage since it was an unmarked white door - the host was very responsive and helpful in getting me into the garage so there wasn’t any issue I had staying here.

  Liked: Very clean apartment,nice and helpful host,amazing location,only problems we might think of are noises,but mostly from the wind(close to ocean I quess and pretty windy weather) and not enough warm water in the bathroom’s sink,that’s all:)

  Perfect Stay in Funchal: Beautiful Apartment with Stunning Views and Top Amenities

  Liked: I had an absolutely wonderful time during my 5-night stay (26th–31st December) at this beautiful apartment in Funchal. Nestled in the heart of the hotel district, it’s surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants, so there’s no need to venture to the Old Town unless you really want to. The host was fantastic—very communicative and provided clear instructions for picking up the keys, making check-in a breeze. The apartment was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully furnished, with a lovely small balcony offering a view of the sea. Although the weather was warm during my stay, I can only imagine how delightful it would be to watch the summer sunsets with a drink in hand. The nearby grocery store, just a two-minute walk up the hill, made it easy to grab essentials. A stroll down the hill leads you along the picturesque coastline to the Old Town, passing sights like the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum, ships in the harbour, and the lively Christmas festivities that added to the magic of my trip. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with a cosy blanket provided for chillier nights. The modern apartment block felt private and secure, with ample towels and always piping hot water. The fast, reliable Wi-Fi made staying connected effortless, and the abundance of power points was a nice touch. I also appreciated the variety of TV channels, including Sky News, which helped me stay updated on events back home. Although I didn’t use the parking, taxis were inexpensive, and walking around the area was both enjoyable and healthy. Madeira is such a stunning island, and this apartment made my visit even more memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip. A big thank you to the host for an outstanding stay!

  Disliked: Absolutely nothing at all. I would return again in a heartbeat. This was my second Christmas trip to Madeira but there is always so much to do and see, thus ensuring there is an excuse to return!!
