  A wonderful stay

  Liked: We stayed at the yellow cottage and absolutely loved it. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed, with a cosy terrace looking onto a beautiful garden. It also had a small terrace with a sea view. There also was ample parking which was a blessing as the road is narrow and incredibly steep. The pool was lovely for a dip in the evening. We liked staying in Funchal as it had so many restaurants to go to for dinner.

  Disliked: There was nothing wrong at all about the property but for some reason Google Map kept directing us to it via the bottom of the very steep two way road when every other car seemed to zoom down it. Eventually we typed our destination to 203 Dr Ernesto de Oliveira, the property opposite our road and rolled down the one way part of it, like the locals which reduced our stress and the stress on our ill adapted little rented car.

  Perfect place to stay and enjoy the view

  Liked: The view and how big the apt was. Lots of light and easy parking. Louise was great

  Disliked: The kitten knifes were dull and it would be nice if there were curtains between the bedroom glass wall so that it was darker

  The perfect way to end our holiday. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

  Liked: The villa had extraordinary views of the city, ocean and sunsets in the afternoons. The Villa was massive with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was huge with plenty of utensils to cook and prepare meals. In a quiet location it was perfect to enjoy sitting on the balcony. The parking was convenient on the property with plenty of space. The host was more than accommodating, helpful and responsive. We were provided loads of food recommendations. It was the perfect home away from home.

  Luxury accommodation in Funchal

  Liked: We stayed in Villa 2. Very clean and well presented. Well equipped with everything you need for a self catering stay. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful view over Funchal from the spacious balcony. Great shower. Louise is lovely and a very welcoming & helpful host We would definitely book to stay again and will recommend to others.
