  Wonderful hotel for the best stay in Funchal ✨

  Liked: I had the best stay at this hotel. The staff were beyond kind and even when my flight was cancelled last moment, helped me find a room for the night. Overall very comfortable, conveniently located, beautiful spacious rooms, and close to great brunch spots, cafes and the beach ☀️🙏 I’d LOVE to visit again and stay here!

  Central, clean and comfortable

  Liked: Cute and comfortable, very clean and good breakfast. Very helpful staff and centrally located.

  Disliked: It would have been nice to know that breakfast o ly starts at 8 when booking. We came for diving so had to leave early in the morning. Staff tried to accommodate but in the end it would have been easier not to book breakfast.

  Great budget stay at the heart of Old City

  Liked: The staff, especially Carolina with whom we had the most contact with, was extremely friendl, profesional and accommodating. Carolina even prepared self check-in instructions in case we would have a delay and arrive at the property after the reception hours. On the last day, they were kind enough to stow our luggage until our flight back home. Even though the residence is located on a busy street and noise insulation isn't the best, it was not an issue getting to sleep.

  Disliked: The furniture and overall decor is a bit outdated. The coating on nightstands and table was chipping away. Not a deal breaker as everything was functional, but it could do with a bit of freshening up.

  Wonderful

  Liked: Location is the best for me. very close to many restuarants which close around 10-10.30pm so quiet in evening. Very close to the bus staion and cable Car. Close to sea front and only 15 minutes walk to town Centre. Room very spacious and benfit with aircon very clean Everything you need. Staff very helpful and spoke good English.

  Liked: Central location

  Disliked: Large construction site 15feet away, 6 days a week, cockroach the size of 50p, couldn't check in time late afternoon, I stayed at this hotel 3 years ago and can honestly say I wouldn't return, the old town has gone down in friendliness, not the same anymore, Funchal itself is absolutely magical, fantastic hotels along the coast would be more suitable, you get what you pay for,, fantastic overall stay,,
