Liked: We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was fantastic, very welcoming, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The apartment itself was stunning, with an incredible view — and honestly, the reality was even better than we expected! There are absolutely no downsides. The only “problem” is that Madeira is so amazing that our calves are still sore from all the hiking and exploring! 😄 But that’s definitely not a disadvantage — just one of the special features of this incredible island. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend these apartments!

Liked: It was very clean. The staff was very helpful and even left us a little snack which was much appreciated after a long travel.

Disliked: It's not very close to main attractions in Funchal but still walkable if don't mind the walk.

Liked: The apartment was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The view from the balcony over the city and the port is wonderful. Gerardo was the perfect host. Excellent communication and very kind. He waited for us with a tray full of fruit, pastries, chocolates and drinks. (Muito obrigado Gerardo!!!) The possibility to park the rental car in the underground garage is a great bonus. Perfectly organized transportation to and from the airport.

  ❤️ Palheiro Residence Familiar 2 ❤️ Madeira

Liked: I could not do justice to Palheiro Residence Familiar 2 in this short review. Everything about our experience during our stay at this apartment was top class. Our host Gerardo was so welcoming, and his attention to detail is seldom seen. The location, the value, the views, the airport transfers, the "Easter" themed welcome pack, everything from start to finish was 10/10.

Disliked: The hill from the old town to the apartment is a challenge but well worth it for the views. (Taxis are not expensive) The only thing I didn't like was leaving. We will surely be back. 💚❤️
