  Liked: Really great hotel! Me and my partner got engaged whilst staying here and the hotel staff were able to arrange for a bottle of wine and roses to be set up in the room whilst we were out for the day. The breakfast is great and the rooftop pool is a lovely spot to chill out.

  Very happy with the facilities and staff were lovely

  Liked: The facilities and the staff were so lovely, and there were some cute details like a welcome drink and a gorgeous buffet breakfast

  Disliked: It was about 15 mins drive outside of Funchal, but was a quiet little village with some cute little restaurants

  Liked: A place right in the center of the main street of the village. Very welcoming staff and helpful with any request. They also helped me organize a small family event and made sure everything was to my satisfaction. Very friendly people

  Disliked: Some of the windows face the streets, which are noisy on weekends, but that's part of the place's authentic local experience.
