Exceptional
Liked: Everything!! Alice place is phenomenal, and she is extra kind. If ever i come back ill definitely stay here again.
Liked: Very nice room, the whole house is equipped with everything, amazing view and Alice is very kind, flexible and funny.
Liked: A very pleasant cottage. A fairly large bedroom and a large bathroom. You can make your own breakfast in the common area. The owner is kind and helpful.From the center of Horta there is a rather steep ascent through the streets
Loved the island and the house is great provided you have a car
Liked: DIY breakfast facilities are good (kettle and microwave) although a sink in the kitchen would be useful. The view overlooking pico is great, although better in the front rooms than the side room. (the side room does have full access to the wrap round balcony however). House is very clean but the smell of disinfectant was a bit strong when we arrived.
Disliked: Dont be tempted to walk up the hill from the ferry with your bags (like we did). It is a very steep climb! Taxi or hire car recommended. We waited for a bus one morning but never arrived. Best to assume no bus service.
Liked: The host was lovely. The view is great.
Liked: Wonderful space on the edge of town—convenient if you have a car (free parking, 5 minutes from everywhere). Great views from patio.
Disliked: Would have appreciated some shampoo conditioner. Otherwise well equipped.
