Exceptional
Liked: The view, the kindness of the host and the sun loungers on the terrace. A visit from the neighbours' dog and cat, who were very friendly!
Disliked: Objects should be removed (7 cushions on the bed). The house is cute but very small, there are definitely too many small objects poisoning the space (vase, candles). Need to take stock of the equipment (clothes line out of order, parasol broken and a knob on the cooker (the 3rd) a bit dangerous). Lastly, and the location has nothing to do with it, avoid the first weekend in August if you want to sleep in and like peace and quiet. Concerts until 2am near the pier and you can hear EVERYTHING) a real nightmare.

Overall, a charming place with potential, but a few details made the stay less comfortable than it could have been
Liked: We generally enjoyed our stay — the house has lovely decor with some unique and thoughtful touches, and the dishes are beautiful. We also appreciated the edible welcome gift from the host, which was a nice gesture.
Disliked: However, there were quite a few ants in the kitchen, which made us avoid using it more than necessary. Parking was a bit tricky, and the dish sponge provided was very dirty, with no replacement — fortunately, I brought my own, but otherwise, it would have been quite unpleasant. Also, the blanket didn’t have a duvet cover, which I find uncomfortable and unhygienic.

Liked: A nice and clean apartment with very nice view of Pico. Very nice decoration. The gift basket and the bottle of wine were much appreciated:)
Superb
Liked: Nice location with a beautiful view over Horta and to Pico. Nice terrace. Very pretty interior. AC works also as a heater. There is a washing machine.
Disliked: There are no mosquito nets for the windows. Ants where coming in, but it wasn't too bad. The oven door wasn't closing properly.
Very pleasant stay in a lovely location in a small cottage which is well appointed
Liked: Exceptionally clean and well appointed. Many helpful little touches such as coffee, cooking utensils, extra towels, gift basket and candles.
Disliked: Smaller than we expected and we ran out of hot water.
