  Horta

  Liked: Large carpeted room with view of harbour and Pico. Room was clean and well maintained/serviced. Good self-service breakfast. Staff always on hand to help Hotel in good location for exploring Horta.

  Liked: Centrally located, with a clean room and a good breakfast. The complimentary fruit and water were an extra touch.

  Disliked: The hotel is well maintained, but the interiors look a little dated. A few small updates, such as more modern tablecloths—or none at all—and new armchairs in the reception area, could give it a fresher feel without the need for major renovations.

  Great location, but expect a 3 star level hotel at vest

  Liked: The breakfast was the best part of the stay. But, even there, the service was mixed.

  Disliked: The rooms were cramped, clean towels were not provided one day in spite of the dirty towels being on the floor, there was food in the hallway scattered all over the floor for an entire afternoon (which I had to report to the front desk), and the front desk staff were not helpful with issues.
