  Liked: A Stunning Home with an Unforgettable View Ladomar Matriz is a truly stunning home overlooking Horta’s waterfront, with breathtaking views of the ocean and Pico Island. Spacious, beautifully furnished with impeccable taste, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. But what makes this place truly special is Dora, an exceptional host whose warmth and thoughtfulness made our stay unforgettable. Always attentive, caring and ready to go the extra mile to make her guests feel pampered and welcome. A wonderful home and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

  One of the best places I have stayed in!

  Liked: The apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. It is equipped with absolutely everything you need to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The host is extremely helpful and cooperative. The location is central and close to shops, restaurants and the ferry terminal. One of the best things about this place is the view to Pico Island and the ocean. Would love to stay there again!

  A beautifully furnished first floor sea front apartment with views directly across to Mount Pico

  Liked: A beautifully furnished first floor sea front apartment with views directly across to Mount Pico. Restaurants, cafés, food shops all within easy walking distance. The owner, Dora, met us on our arrival to hand over the keys and explain the workings of the apartment... as well as the delightful (and delicious!) Welcome Pack in the kitchen, where we also found generous quantities of coffee pods and tea bags. Dishwasher tablets and clothes washing liquid, shower and hand wash creme were some of the many things that helped make the week go smoothly. Bedrooms were a good size with plenty of storage and the beds comfortable. Being spoilt with a bathroom each was a real bonus. We agree that when we return to Horta we will (hopefully) stay in this apartment.

  Liked: The apartment was beautiful, full of natural light with a blend of classic and modern touches. The view of Pico Island and the harbor are incredible. Perfect location in downtown Horta, walkable to everything. Dora was very accommodating and made us feel at home!
