Beautiful place close to nature
Liked: I had two wonderful days at Quinta da Maria! ❤️ Lucia was incredibly kind and gave me such a warm welcome. The little house is absolutely charming, cozy and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and all the little details that make this place special. And the fresh eggs from the chickens were such a lovely bonus! 🐓🥚 Thank you, Lucia, for making my short stay so lovely. I would happily come back!

Lovely and comfortable stay in Faial
Liked: What a lovely stay with wonderful hosts! Very warm and welcoming. The accommodation was comfortable with everything you need for cooking and plenty of fresh eggs, fruit, bread and other goodies! A wonderful gem in Faial:-)
Liked: Everything was great, the communication was easy, the house was in a great location, the yard was beyond amazing! Lucy and Tony were amazing hosts! Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Liked: We honestly wish we had stayed for more than one night. The house has a wonderful atmosphere and feels incredibly welcoming. You can see how much care and effort the hosts have put into making guests feel comfortable and at home. One of the highlights was the beautifully prepared breakfast table. Everything was arranged with great attention to detail and made us feel truly welcome. The house had everything we needed, including plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The garden is absolutely stunning, with an impressive collection of succulents, beautiful plants, and lovely outdoor spaces. The entire property is full of character and charm. We also loved the friendly dog and the warm feeling of the whole place. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and overall the house felt like a place where you could happily spend much longer than a single night. We were actually sad to leave and would have gladly stayed longer if we hadn't already had tickets to leave the island.
Disliked: Only a few minor things. The air conditioner is located on the lower floor, while the upstairs rooms rely on a fan. We also noticed that one outlet in the small bedroom was not working, and the hallway outlet only seemed to work when the hallway light was turned on. Aside from these small details, everything was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Liked: The House is beautiful, confortable and has everything needed for a perfect stay. the location is amazing( you have views to Pico and can watch the sunset)and The host Lucia, is super kind and takes very good care of every detail. We had a short but lovely stay.
Disliked: It can be sometimes a little noisy being so close to the airport and main street, but It was not a problem at all.
Loved staying here; host gracious; big space
Liked: The house was decorated so adorably, homey, and bright. Plenty of room. Full kitchen. Back patio. Several walks nearby to natural swimming areas and Castelo Branco. Enjoyed wandering around in the nearby neighborhoods.
Disliked: Has only 1 bathroom. Further out from main town area, but fine as I was leaving the next day.
