  Pleasant surprise

Liked: Everything you could expect and more. Never seen a place as well equipped as this one. The pictures don't quite capture what you will experience. Very spacious place with ample space to relax and hang out indoors or outdoors. Very quiet yet close to everything you need. Friendly hosts that are always helpful and respond quickly. Would definitely come again.

Beautiful home with unique and charming elements

Liked: The home was very nice.. another review said it was nicer than the pictures and I agree. Rui and Luisa are the parents of the host and were very accommodating, absolutely lovely people. They even helped us get to the home and gave us some food after a rough travel day that ended up with us arriving late to Horta. We very much loved the stay, including sampling from the impressive garden and barbecuing in the outdoor patio.

A peaceful, family-friendly escape with amazing hosts and unforgettable surroundings

Liked: The accommodation was absolutely beautiful, set in stunning gardens with so much space for the kids to explore. Luisa and Rui were the most welcoming hosts — so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely went out of their way to make our stay special. Our children especially loved fruit-picking in the garden, and Rui was so patient and generous with his time helping them! We felt completely at home and didn’t want to leave.

  Disliked: It was perfect
