Liked: Beautiful grand old house, full of character. It was like going back in time. Beautiful gardens. Breakfast was lovely, fresh orange juice and fruit salad + eggs ham etc.
If we were running a guest house it would be exactly like Vila Duparchy
Liked: Vila Duparchy is a handsome old property, full of character and tucked away at the end of a long private drive. Osca, the owner, was very welcoming, friendly and informative. Our room was comfortable and clean. We were given the wrong, less luxurious and less expensive room but only realised after our departure! A genuine mistake I’m sure. It’s conveniently located for Lusa and Buçaco, both worthy of a visit. We would definitely book again if visiting the area.

Unforgettable visit. We enjoyed both evenings in the varanda with a nice bottle of local wine

Liked: Great breakfast (with vegan options, very kind of the host). Room was really nice and cool. Pool is great within a beautiful garden.
