Fabulous
Really cool vibe to this spot, it is focused on surfers, but adequate for a pilgrim as well
Liked: This hostel, is just as it says, a surfers hostel. The ambiance is the real winner here. The great room has a really chill vibe, and there is plenty of space for people to relax. The owner and staff are very friendly and willing to help. One of the plusses is that the bunks in the rooms are fabricated from steel tubing, which makes it much more stable when getting in and out of a top bunk, also more quiet. All the bunks had privacy curtains and individual outlets and lights in each bunk. Great for not disturbing the other guests. There is a full kitchen to prepare food, but there are also lots of eating choices nearby.
Disliked: The showers took a long time to heat up, and there was only one that was not for showering after the beach. If you are backpacking and need to wash clothes, there is no place to hang anything up to dry.

Disliked: Lack of fresh ventilation in the bedroom and generally in the open loft area. Floor flooding in bathrooms as towels aren't provided.
