Exceptional
Amazing beautiful Apartment that is located perfectly for exploring Matosinhos & Porto & Great Hosts
Liked: Great Apartment in a fantastic location to explore the area - the hosts communication was great and they made us feel very welcomed and also made us feel that no request was too much trouble - I cannot recomend this apartment and host enough - we had an amazing time and would love to return, I have never felt more welcomed and comfortable and taken care of. The apartment is decorated by someone with a high taste level that fitted us like a glove and we were in a great spot to have everything within a short walk.
Disliked: There was only 1 item accross this review that I marked down and that may not bother most people - we missed having a toaster in the kitchen and thats it - Fantastic place on all counts!
Very Disappointing
Liked: The apartment is very clean and comfortable
Disliked: We had a problem with both showers. Scalding hot water came out of them and we spent ages trying to adjust it to get the right temperature but impossible. I sent a video to the owner, who was away and her son also, so there was noone to come to the apartment to check the showers. We spent two nights without having a shower. The owner sent someone to the apartment after we had left on Monday at 11.00 and they sent us a video showing how to adjust the temperature, a bit too late and to be honest am still not convinced. Someone should have gone to the apartment on Sunday when I sent the message, it didn´t have to be a plumber. I have apartments I rent as well through booking.com and always have someone on call if I 'm away.

Superb
Not recommended
Liked: Decoration, a lot done with little
Disliked: First, property managers/owners went to the property uninvited when I wasn't present, so I'm pretty sure someone in the building has the keys to the apartment. No heating working properly, beds are not comfortable, THERE'S A LOT OF NOISE is like having the tram/metro, bus, cars, passing in the living room, kitchen and bedrooms, the whole day and night. So, it's definitely not recommended for anyone who's sensitive to noise or expects to be able to rest. A lot of humidity.
