  Comfortable stay and wonderful hosts

  Liked: Clean, quiet, comfortable and the hosts were super helpful. Nice to have a full kitchen to prepare meals.

  Good for a 1 night dorm stay on the Camino, but I’d look elsewhere; first

  Liked: Hot water

  Disliked: Only 2 bathrooms, one was a double/ co-ed with no allowance for women’s modesty. If hostel had been full a shower and toilet line would be inevitable.

  Liked: Practically perfect in every way. I had a junior private room with a kitchenette, sitting area, bedroom, private bathroom. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hosts were both lovely people. The hostel is located 2 blocks from the Matosinhos beach and close to restaurants, grocery and metro line. I was there in late October and they had the heat on. Can't say I had that in Spain yet that was further north and much much colder. This place is definitely worth every penny and I hope to return one day.

  Disliked: There was no electric plug close to the bed to charge my cell while I slept. I had to use a stool to set my cell down and plug it in across the room for the night. Not a big issue but a little unusual as most people charge their cell on the night table.

In order to facilitate your arrival, we ask you to inform us of the scheduled time for your check-in, as we do not have reception 24h:

- Monday to Friday: 15:00 - 19:00

- Weekend: no face-to-face reception (self-check-in)

If you need to arrive outside these hours, just let us know so that we can send you the instructions and the code for the main door so that you can enter at the time that is most convenient for you.

Please note that the reception is only open for check-in from Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 19:00. During weekends and outside these hours, there is only the option for self check in.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

A deposit may be required at the property.
