  Looked and felt more like a place where secret lovers go, who don't want to be discovered

  Liked: The room was well equipped with a huge hot tub, nice shower and bedroom lighting.

  Disliked: There were no blankets on the bed and I was cold most of the night, preventing me from sleep. There was no where to check in with an actual person.

  Quirky but not to be repeated

  Liked: It had good car parking facilities, very safe & secure for vehicles, room was clean, reception staff were multi lingual and helpful, always in their boothe,

  Disliked: You could only get in via reception who opened the garage door for you to enter the property, we had no working lights on the stairs and entrance so it was quite dangerous, even using our phone torch, the room smelt of “smoke” but it was very clean, the fire escape door was locked from the other side so no means of escape, there were no glasses for drinking or brushing teeth in room, we had to buy a bottle of water at reception to get 2 glasses,the rooms could be hired by the hour, so there was a lot of coming & going (if you know what I mean) There wasn’t a restaurant as advertised, breakfast was put in a hatch in the room, there wasn’t a chair so had to sit on the bed to have breakfast. There were no open restaurants close by for evening meal, had to walk 1.5k to a snack bar

  Know what you're booking for - not family friendly

  Liked: Know what you're booking for, a 'motel' in Portugal is not the same as in other parts of the world, this is a place for secret rendezvous, not for staying with your kids or mother in law! There is no front desk reception! We booked the King Room but they gave us the Spa Room, which was well appointed with a giant double jacuzzi and a 'stripper pole'. It is super close to the airport. All-in-all nothing to complain about, just not what we expected!

  Disliked: There was no kettle, coffee facility or refrigerator and no restaurants or cafes near by. We did discover a supermarket a couple of blocks away though.
