Great Apartment and Terrific Host!

Excellent stay and wonderful hostess
Liked: Our arrival was a bit delayed because of flight and traffic problems but the person that met us was delightful. There was a welcoming bottle of wine and an assortment of coffees. The views are great from the balcony. We hope to be to return some day.
Disliked: A second set of keys would be helpful. On the first night, the apartment had a strong aroma of cleansers that dissipated after a day or so. Traffic in front of the apartment is noisy, but it isn't possible to get away from the noise in this area if you want to have an ocean view. The apartment could use a renovation, it is getting old.
Liked: Great location next to the beach. Great view. Very nice host.
Disliked: The place should be renovated and painted. The furniture is old. The sofa in the living room is very old and covered with a blanket to hide it. Bad smell from the toilet.
Liked: The apartment is absolutely beautiful, more so than the photos can show. It is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location is excellent. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony, enjoying the views and watching the activity around the beach. Sunset views from front balconies, sunrises from kitchen window and sunroom upstairs. Bozena is an excellent hostess, welcomed us with a bottle of wine and checked in regularly to see if we needed anything. Truly, the best stay I have had anywhere. The 4 of us stayed 3 nights and wished it was longer! Clean sandy beach just across the street, lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
Beach location. Nice apartment
Liked: Comfortable apartment with a great view of the beach. Easy access to groceries and transit. 30 minute bus ride into downtown Porto. On the Camino Portuguese coastal route, so able to walk along the river to the apartment and then continue the Camino from there. Host was very attentive and provided assistance when needed.
Liked: Great location, view from balcony, nice owner and all equipment that needed, even towels for beach and umbrella for beach
