  Beautiful accommodation in beautiful surroundings, with exceptional service from Carla

  Liked: Carla is an incredible woman and host. The accommodation is beautiful inside and out and Carla couldn't be more helpful. She provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay in the surrounding areas and beyond. She provides an incredibly well-considered and professional service with warmth and humour. Cannot recommend highly enough.

  Amazing

  Liked: The property was really clean and well maintained. Probably one of the most clean and well equip places I have stayed in. Has everything you need to cater for your family. The host was amazing and nice aswell

  Wonderful stay with an exceptional host

  Liked: Our stay at the Rural House was amazing — peaceful, spotless, and perfectly comfortable. Clara was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making us feel truly welcome from the start. She went above and beyond, even providing great details about the local area that helped us explore and enjoy our time more. The house was well-equipped and tidy, and Clara’s clear and kind communication made everything easy, including check-out. It’s obvious she puts her heart into hosting. We highly recommend this place and would love to return. Thank you, Clara, for making our experience so special!

  We had a fabulous time, thank you so much!

  Liked: The apartment was well furnished and very clean. It was close to the airport which was very helpful with 2 kids in tow and no long transfers to endure. Carla was the ‘hostess with the mostest’ for sure and made us feel so welcome. She waited up late to let us check in after a flight delay and was so helpful throughout the week, giving us tips on good places to visit and to eat in. She was also on hand to borrow items from eg when we used the BBQ and didn’t have the utensils.

  Disliked: It’s hard to identify something we didn’t like but maybe as a suggestion for being even better, I would say that it would be helpful if there were some basic items in situ such as salt and pepper and tea/coffee. Maybe also a bottle of water and a loaf of bread or something for arrival. As our flight was an evening one we didn’t have time to go to a shop to get anything and again, with kids in tow, that was tricky.

  We highly recommend staying at Rural House! Only minus is that the pool wasn't getting cleaned

  Liked: We loved our stay! Carla is such a friendly and caring host and the facilities are very nice. We liked the privacy of being almost the only guests there (unlike at a big hotel in the center of the city). Don't forget to visit the fantastic little café/mini supermarket "Sabores ao Cubo" right around the corner as well.

  Disliked: The pool didn't seem clean and it wasn't cleaned in the four days we were staying there, and we booked our stay because of the pool facility, so that was disappointing... Also the area is a little deserted and it was a little creepy walking home from the metro station on the days where we went to Porto and came home after dark (we were two young women traveling together). Apart from those two points, we only have good things to say about Rural House, and we can highly recommend staying her:)
