Fabulous
Nice accommodation on a busy weekend
Liked: There are actually three properties. The owners I assume we’re very accommodating and friendly.
Disliked: The location was advertised as being within walking distance of many of the major sites and Mertola. However, the fact is you have to get in your car and drive down and cross over the bridge and park somewhere in town. Parking wasn’t in an issue.
Liked: The house facilities
Disliked: The room is too small
We enjoyed a relaxing day poolside and slept wonderfully at night. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recomme
Liked: Located in an easy to reach very quiet area. Immaculately clean. The place is very well decorated and cozy. The bed was comfortable. The staff were delightful. The pool is nice, there are comfortable loungers and the view is pretty. The soap in the rooms smelt so good and is a Portuguese brand.
Disliked: The doors to the rooms are paper thin. I understand that they are meant to contribute to the rustic vibe of the house (which they do very well) I’m not sure they would be very isolating of sound/noise. We were the only guests so there was no problem with noise at all but it’s worth mentioning. Also, the pool, while fabulous, is < 1 minute walk across the street, so it’s convenient but not the same property.

Liked: I loved the accommodation, the staff the comfort, the pool and the orange grove just outside my bedroom window. The owner,Nelson, is very kind and accommodating as are the housekeepers, Maria and Nikola. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
