Liked: The location is very serene and calming. The walk to Monsanto took about 20 minutes. The path has lovely views, but is somewhat steep and uneven. As long as you return before dark, it's quite pleasant. The village was charming and the views from the castle were breathtaking. The property hosts, Ingrid and Thorsten, were fabulous! Ingrid provided recommendations for a local dinner and the food, view and atmosphere were a 10. Our room was very comfortable and had everything needed. Breakfast the next morning was served in the garden. The food was delicious and the garden is a relaxing oasis. The attention to detail is greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!!

Beautiful cosy home amongst the rocks!
Liked: Great location, 20 mins walk from Monsanto town center. The rooms were comfy and cosy, and beautifully decorated. Fab stay!

Liked: The location of Quinta de São Pedro de Vir-a-Corça is magical. The garden with orange trees, a pond, a spring of drinking water, stone sculptures and a beautiful seating area is simply indescribable. The owner, Mrs. Ingrid, is very friendly and will help with everything. The breakfast of homemade products under the trees in the garden is simply delicious. The hike to Monsanto along the old Roman road was also beautiful.
Disliked: The house where we were accommodated was like a doll's house. For us, who are not very slim, it was a bit small and the solution of the bed placed on a raised wooden floor did not suit us. We also missed a bit of a clothes hanger or a cabinet with shelves.
