Great weekend at the Literary festival
Liked: The location is perfect, right in the heart of town, but not noisy. The property has a phenomenal terrace with great views. The room was basic, but had all that's needed. Nice touches such as a welcome chocolate/ginginha.
Disliked: Only one thing: the blankets were a bit old and heavy. Since it was cold at night, I had to use two, and they weighed a bit. A duvet would have been more comfortamble. But this is a small detail...

Liked: Lovely old house with lots of charm. Comfortable rooms and great location. Very friendly welcome from staff, who went out of their way to meet our needs.
Liked: Delightfully friendly staff that could not assist is enough. They allowed early check in and provided the best breakfast we have had in Portugal. It is a tiny traditional Portugese hotel full of character.
It was Oky. The location is horrible if you have luggages to carry
Liked: It’s very charming decore. It was nice we got free water and the Portuguese liquor as a shot.
Disliked: The beds were not comfortable. The pillows were very flat. There were 3 beds in the room. My bed made so much noise every time I changed positions. Made it difficult to fall into deep sleep. You can’t drive the car into the town. This hotel is located almost the end of the town opposite of the parking lot. Oh boy we had to drag our luggages across the town. Once you make the turn to get into the hotel it was cobble stone and down hill. Not a very easy way. Also the key to the main entrance wasn’t the easiest to turn and open the main door to the hotel.
An ideal stay complete with perfect location, comfy room, superb breakfast and lots of little extras
Liked: This property is an absolute hidden gem. The value is outstanding. Not only is the location perfect for exploring Obidos but the owner greeted us at check-in and gave us some nice bonuses- bottles of water, fruit, chocolate. The place is adorable- so unique. The next morning, our table was set beautifully and the breakfast was above and beyond. Pastries, fresh hot bread, cereal, bacon and eggs, 3 kinds of milk. We ate and ate and ate.
Disliked: There is really nothing I can think of. I have already recommended this hotel to family that is traveling to Portugal in the near future.
