  Experience the past in 21st C comfort!

  Liked: Historic house updated for modern guests.Such a unique place to stay within the walls of the city. Very comfortable and clean. Plenty of space for 6 people and a large table for gathering.

  Disliked: I wish there was some more toiletries- each bathroom had one bottle of soap to use as both body wash and shampoo and they were only partially full. Adding separate, shampoo, conditioner, and soap would be appreciated by guests, and in plentiful enough amounts to feel like you don't need to ration each time you shower. Also, there was a washing machine, which was very helpful, but the area to dry wasn't in the sun, so our clothes didn't dry. Not sure if this is something that could be changed, but it would be helpful if tips or recommendations for laundering effectively were provided.

  Exceptional house, perfect location, a dream stay for Obidos!

  Liked: We were in Obidos for a wedding in the church right next to Castle House! Location was phenomenal!

  We had a wonderful stay. Cosy, tidy and great location

  Liked: The property is in a great location in the heart of the walled city. The home is lovely and very cosy. Clean and easily accessible. Hosts are professional.

  Disliked: Lacks comfortable seating for lounge area.

  If you want to be in the middle of the action in Obidos, this is the place- it is The Castle House!

  Liked: Unbelievable location- super clean and unique. We loved the little billiard table and bonus that it had a dishwasher.

  Disliked: There is no balcony or patio, but the steps outside front door make a nice gathering space. This location would be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues.
