  Great town and great apartment

  Liked: Spacious, clean, well equipped, close to castle, great town. Church on the hill was unbelievably beautiful. We were met when we check in which was very nice

  Disliked: Long way from grocery store. Apartment is down a small road. Once we found it we were fine.

  Great stay in Lamego

  Liked: We stayed in Lamego for a family wedding and we could not have picked a better apartment. From booking to departure, everything was smooth. It was a quiet location within easy reach of all the things we wanted to do. The apartment was beautifully clean and well appointed. Perfect for four adults.

  Liked: The location was fantastic. Totally recommend this property. Communication with our host, Marco, was great...easy to locate. Free parking is less than 50m away. Good shower pressure and a nice size. Walking distance to café and restaurant. Walking distance to cultural sites.

  Disliked: "Hard" European bed. No body wash, shampoo, or conditioner.

  Sketchy on the outside, fantastic on the inside

  Liked: A very spacious apartment located near the center of town. Easy to spread out and get comfortable including a nice couch, TV and kitchen appliances. The tapas restaurant recommended by the owner in walking distance was the highlight of Lamego with fresh farm-to-table food. Get an early start to the sights in this conveniently located city in the Douro Valley.

  Disliked: We had to park our car up a hill quite a ways and walk down as there is no where to park in front of the building. The location is in a part of town with narrow streets and you will need a car to get to surrounding sights.
