  Beautifully refurbished boutique hotel

  Liked: Beautifully refurbished old building. Lovely staff (Maria was very helpful - with excellent restaurant recommendations). Great breakfast buffet and a quiet relaxed atmosphere. Big room on top floor was very comfortable. Close to train station, river and town centre.

  Disliked: All good - train line runs behind the hotel but only about 8 trains a day so noise not really an issue

  Excellent choice in Peso da Régua

  Liked: The decoration is excellent preserving the original lines of the building. Room comfortable and spacious. The staff were always helpful and friendly.

  Liked: The staff was excellent, taking care of every possible request. The building is very nice, with lots of light and airy spaces. Everything very clean. Very good breakfast with an excellent fruit selection.

  Perfect mini férias 🤩🤩🤩

  Liked: Our second visit to this unique hotel and it was lovely to see it has is continued to be loved and cared for. I communicated with Nelson a few times before our arrival date and he was super attentive and so helpful. A true asset to the team. Room 106 is very large and a balcony to watch the trains. Very comfy and huge bathroom too. Our first evening we decided to have wine & cheese at the hotel. Lovingly prepared and a great way to relax into our mini break. Breakfast excellent - lots of choice and perfect to our taste. Lovely friendly staff too. Location just a short walk to & from the the train station and lots of restaurants and cafes within easy reach. Can not recommend this hotel highly enough and hope to get back there again soon.

  Liked: We were welcomed by Maria. She gave us detailed advice including how to book tickets on the Douro railway. She also provided a type-written note specially for us recommending some local restaurants. By the way, if you arrive at Peso da Régua by train or bus there is no need to get a taxi to the hotel. It is less than five minutes walk.
