  Beautiful stay in the Douro Valley!

  Liked: Beautiful wine hotel in the Douro Valley, nice staff, complementary wine tasting which was entertaining and insightful. The rooms are comfortable with balconies and the small spa area is also nice. Restaurant for dinner was a great option too. Received the warmest welcome with a bottle of wine & a cheese platter. It’s possible to hike around the property which gives stunning views!ä and the hotel offers also many different activities.

  Disliked: We would have preferred getting proper coffees at breakfast freshly made via order (like ordering a Latte, cappuccino etc.) since there was just black coffee and milk on the side available at the buffet.

  Beautiful views

  Liked: The hotel is modern in a beautiful setting. Not many rooms means it’s not over crowded. Rooms are nice and their balcony’s are lovely facing north so they stay shaded and cool. Staff are helpful and the wine tasting was fun!

  The perfect luxury boutique getaway for relaxation, with stunning views over the Douro Valley

  Liked: An extraordinary boutique resort with the most amazing views of vineyards, rolling hills and the Douro River. It is the perfect getaway to relax and experience the tranquillity of nature in a luxurious boutique hotel setting. The rooms were stunning, with spacious, shaded balconies. Both breakfast and dinner were beautifully prepared and delicious, as were the wines. There is a lovely rooftop terrace with sunbeds, a pool and a bar. The spa and massage treatments were among the best we’ve experienced. The interior design is beautiful throughout.

  Disliked: The only downside is the lack of a gym. However, we were told that they are working on adding one. Once that is in place, it’s a definite 10/10!
