  Absolutely fabulous!

  Liked: Absolutely fabulous apartment about 100 meters from the train station. Close to restaurants and attractions, (museum about the Douro River was excellent). And access to river cruises just down the road. Apartment decor was fresh and new, well equipped and only 43 stairs from the entry.

  Disliked: Nothing, it was perfect and comfortable for travelers looking for a home base on the Douro

  We will be back. The building has been beautifully restored and the facilities provided are very practical
