  Liked: This is a high end house (3 bathrooms, nice pool etc. ) in a calm old village overlooking the Dourou, just so beautiful … they even have a wallbox. Check out Lamego in the mountains, do a boatride and chose your favorite Quinta for wine tasting ….

  Liked: Very clean and comfortable. Well decorated and equipped with a fantastic view of the douro. Staff kept the place spotless and couldnt be more helpful. We were made to feel really welcome from the moment we arrived and Sr Joaquim even gave our car a rinse after it was covered with ash from forest fires. The owner provides great toiletries, luxurious towels and a nespresso coffee machine. The area is really quiet and we were very grateful for a clean pool and the aircon. Nearby bakery is excellent with a lovely balcony overlooking the river.

  Disliked: Nothing. The only thing we did find was the house was a bit creaky at night due to the intense 40c heat and the wood contracting at night as it cooled.

  Highly recommend this relaxing, private location

  Liked: This was an amazing property! The staff were so helpful to greet us and get the gate opened to park. The ac was very comfortable. Amazing views and grounds, including a refreshing private swimming pool. Great hills, river, valley, and vineyard views. Very nice interior. Very nice outside sitting.
