  A slice of paradise with wine!

  Liked: A lovely truly lovely place. We stayed in main house, our room was ultra comfy, clean with outstanding views. The veranda and gardens offered shade and a beautiful place to just sit …. and drink delicious wine. The pools were cool but so refreshing after a sticky sightseeing day, the lower pool was our favourite as has a spectacular view. We did the wine tasting experience with Luis which we thoroughly enjoyed and used his app self guiding us through the property…such a great touch. The pièce de résistance is the scrumptious breakfast Margarida presents every morning….we ate so much we were not hungry till dinner. Margarida’s so helpful making restaurant reservations and giving ideas for day trips, she definitely knows her stuff. We had a car and there is plenty of parking, the road up is a little daunting at first but easy once you get used to it, many guests used taxis and Margarida has a good connection with a reliable driver. We booked 6 nights and would loved to have stayed longer, it’s the type of place you want to tell everyone about but also want to keep a secret so you could always get a booking!

  Liked: Every step of the stay was given the utmost care and attention by Casa do Romezal’s team. From the moment you check in, you are treated with so much thoughtfulness. The room and view were stunning, the breakfast unforgettable, and the overall property gorgeous and fun to explore. The team also makes transportation super easy, coordinating taxi service for each step of our journey and directing us to great restaurants in Ruega. I couldn’t recommend this location enough!

  The hospitality from Margarida (the property owner/operator) was exceptional

  Liked: Extremely clean and spacious bungalow with amazing views of the rolling hills and vineyards. The bed was perfect and had some the best sleep in days!

  It's a big YES!!!

  Liked: Everything was excellent. Margarida and her family are doing a great job. The house and our room were fantastic, very well furnished and decorated. Breakfast was tasty with many varieties, and the wine tour was very well organized. Totally recommend!!!
