  Comfortable stay in the heart of Lamego

  Liked: The location is excellent in the centre of Lamego, and easy to reach. Easy to check in. The communication with the host was excellent. The beds were comfy. The air con was switched on when we arrived, which was very pleasant as it was sweltering hot on the day. We switched the A/C off at night and the house remained relatively cool till morning. We travelled as a family of 4, with two children of 7 and 8 years. We stayed in house # 8 (only for 1 night), which accommodated us all well with a double bed and a trundle-style sofa bed (pull-out sofa bed) on two different floors.

  Disliked: The coffee machine didn't seem to work - it was jamming - but that was not a problem for us. There seemed to be a dog barking next door (house # 10) later in the evening/night. It wasn't too bad - and it's great the property is pet friendly - but you may want to double check with the host at the time of the booking in case having a close furry neighbour may be uncomfortable for your (and your children) bedtime routine!

  Very nice and clean stay to visit Lamego just by walking

  Liked: Everything was very clean and taken care of. Check-in and check-out is very easy by an automated lock door with a PIN, there are no keys. Host is communicative through WhatsApp or Booking messages. It’s less than 5 minutes walking from central Lamego square, and there are a lot of parking spots to park (paid over the week), and you can requested a private garage for a daily fee.

  Disliked: Some mattresses are comfortable, others are less comfortable. I guess it depends on what you are used to for sleeping. But overall good for a nice stay.
