  Don't Book, no staff on site

  Liked: Absolutely nothing

  Disliked: We booked this for a Douro Valley b&b stay with views of the valley as shown in pictures. We were sent details of how to find property and enter the car park. On arrival there was no staff to welcome us and no access to the property facilities, we were very concerned. A family arrived for a stay as well and experienced the same problems. They managed to contact an owner who advised we were all at the wrong property, unlikely as they sent all the information. We followed directions to another property but again no staff, just an entry code to access rooms etc, all very unsatisfactory and unsafe. Clearly a 2nd property with poor views, don't book

  Beautiful property with great views

  Liked: Lovely architectural design to the house and shared spaces. Beautiful view overlooking Peso da Régua. The staff and the owners were very accommodating, adding gluten free options for breakfast and we found them very knowledgeable about the local area.

  Disliked: The rooms are on the small side and could have used a couple more amenities like a kettle/coffee machine given there is no kitchen access or restaurants/bars within walking distance

  Wonderful stay!

  Liked: The staff made a lovely fresh breakfast everyday, I especially liked the orange juice! The view was amazing from the hotel, and the pool was lovely too. Very quiet and relaxing place.

  Liked: View, cleanliness, located in winery, excellent breakfast, staff is exceptional. Parking is included inside narrow gate with code. There is room to park just outside gate.

  Disliked: Wish place description show it is not a hotel. It’s guesthouse with many bed rooms with own bathroom. It is challenging drive up the windy narrow road to get there; big SUV will be extra challenging to pass narrow street in some places. But rewarded with great view. Vineyard workers bring horse to pool to feed water. So did neighbor cat come to drink the pool - not sure what can be done about cat.
