  Liked: Wow, what a fantastic deal. 3 bed / 2 bath house, full kitchen and lighting room, air conditioners in every room. Tight parking place across the street, but I didn't have trouble parking my 4-door rental car.

  Disliked: There's another Casa Vale do Douro and Google Maps defaults to that one: https://maps.app.goo.gl/EYAr5hh2mshCvSKYA I went there first, but maybe I'm the only one that makes this mistake.

  Cozy and beautiful house

  Liked: This is a pretty house of 3 bedrooms. My family of 7 adults have a nice stay there. The house does not have dinning rooms, so we have dinner in the courtyard, but we can’t stay late because of some insects. The host of this house is a very kind man and his daughter, who invited us to visit their wine cellar on the basement of the house and invited us taste his house’s wines that are so good. The casa is about 2km from the nearest grocery or restaurant. Generally we love this house.

  Disliked: This is an “ancient” house, so some facilities are not so convenient, but we think it is acceptable and good to experience.

  Liked: Nothing

  Disliked: Very hard to communicate to begin with because the host did not speak a word of English. The house was two stories high, several stairs. It wasn’t clean and felt very uncomfortable. The showers did not work properly. Very disappointed with the stay and wish we had never booked.

  Very convenient as an excursion base in the Regua / Douro

  Liked: Large house in the middle of the vineyards, in a small hamlet. Large, perfectly furnished rooms. Very friendly and helpful owners

  Disliked: Beds and parquet cracking at every tiny move made at night... Farm fogs in numerous kennels of the vicinity howling for hours in the very early morning...
