  An okay base for a night but a bit outdated

  Liked: The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The views of the surrounding areas are beautiful and there is an indoor and outdoor pool. We also appreciated the walks around the vineyard being marked out. The staff were very helpful in resolving an issue for us and can’t fault them at all.

  Disliked: This place is pretty outdated and run down, most of the main building isn’t open and there is no restaurant or bar on site. You need a car to drive to nearby restaurants or bring food with you. The pool is nice but the sunbeds are mostly broken. The breakfast was pretty basic. Overall I wouldn’t want to stay more than one night here.

  Um lugar lindo e tranquilo

  Liked: Esta foi a minha terceira vez neste hotel. O lugar continua lindo, calmo e muito tranquilo — perfeito para quem busca sossego. Desta vez, porém, ficamos um pouco desapontados. Nas nossas estadias anteriores, havia a possibilidade de jantar no próprio hotel, mas infelizmente o restaurante fechou. Agora, é necessário sair de carro para jantar, e as opções mais próximas ficam a cerca de 10 minutos. Além disso, não há muitas alternativas na região e, justamente na semana em que estivemos lá, dois dos poucos restaurantes próximos também estavam fechados. Apesar desse inconveniente, o hotel continua sendo um lugar muito bonito e agradável para se hospedar.

This was our second visit, and once again, we had a great experience. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with amazing views of the valley, apple trees, grape vines, gardens and surrounding fields. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen was also very well equipped, with a fridge and everything we needed to prepare meals comfortably. The facilities were excellent, especially considering the price we paid. The breakfast was very good, and the overall service and arrangements were really worth the money. There are also two swimming pools, and the children really enjoyed spending time there. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist, who was very welcoming. Overall, it is a perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Whenever we visit the Douro Valley again, we will definitely choose this place again.

  Amazing! Highly recommend!

  Over all stay was good, kids enjoyed this place

  Liked: Pool was good, specially the indoor one kids like it very much.

  Disliked: Room was ok, one recommendation in the bathroom the doors were transparent, ideally the doors should be translucent as it was there in the washroom.
