  Peaceful beautiful historical setting with great breakfast

  Liked: Peaceful. Beautiful. Historical remodeled room. Great breakfast with homemade yogurt and jam. Pleasant owner. Set in working vineyard at edge of Duoro valley. Gated parking area.

  Disliked: Communication challenges difficult through email and phone (respond to email- it’s ok to say no-in the end should have said unable to take dinner reservations before we arrived). Port tasting ok. Off beaten path, so necessary to drive miles on windy roads.

  Disliked: Food & drinks were ridiculously overpriced. Poor quality and 4x higher than the rest of Portugal. A scam, really. Staff seemed unhappy too

  We loved our relaxing stay in this Quinta!

  Liked: Beautiful property, friendly staff, and large room.

  Disliked: Furniture could use some updating. Hair dryer was terrible.

  Stay in the middle of the wine mountains

  Liked: Didn't know what to expect but very positive surprised. When we arrived, Antony greeted us and gave us a little tour, very nice guest rooms in the middle of wine mountains, very charming decorated, excellent breakfast and absolutely quite and relaxing ambience. Thank you Antonio, very nice well kept and clean accommodation you got there.
