  Charming and relaxing

  Liked: The Quinta and owner (Cesar) are charming. Very authentic experience in a vineyard and farmhouse in the Douro Valley. We loved it!

  Genuine experience staying on a family owned vineyard in the heart of Douro Valley

  Liked: It was a lovely family run farm. The owner was very accommodating and always asked if we had any needs. Offered suggestions for dinner and where to go for ride along the river

  The property looks nothing like the pictures

  Liked: This property has great potential. That's all.

  Disliked: First of all, when we arrived, we met a staff member and showed him our booking confirmation. However, he told us that there was no hotel there. After about 10 minutes of discussion, he suddenly said that he was expecting a few people to stay overnight. What was that all about? We honestly had no idea. Then we were shown our room. It was terrible. Everything was old and outdated. The air conditioners were ancient and barely worked. The bathroom and toilet were genuinely scary to use. There was also a very unpleasant smell. A dog was barking all night, and the room was extremely cold. I don't even want to write about the breakfast. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. The property looks nothing like the pictures. Everything was just sad and unpleasant.

  Unique value in a stunning Duoro Valley setting. High enough to appreciate the vineyards but still accessible by car

  Liked: Stunning view of the Duoro River and vineyards. Dated but comfortable. Excellent tour, dinner wine tasting experience.

  Disliked: Needed a few more places for outdoor seating.

  No frills stay with a beautiful view of the Douro River

  Liked: This is such a lovely option in the Douro to experience a more laid back, traditional accommodation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, even if no frills, the breakfast spread was excellent, and the vineyards are beautiful.

  very special experience---highly recommend

  Liked: being on the actual farm for the grapes and seeing how daily life working the fields actually is.

  Disliked: communication prior was a little rought but they are redoing the website. once we were there, the staff was fabulous.
