  Incredible & still dreaming about this stay!

  Liked: This is an incredible stay. Elisabete is a most gracious host and goes over the top for her guests. The location and views are absolutely stunning! We were able to participate in a tasting at the property which was divine. The home is beautiful and old, breakfast was delicious served in the dining room. We joined her and her husband for dinner at a very local spot, SO GOOD! We wish we could have stayed more than one night!

  Well worth it for the view of the valley and vineyards

  Liked: The location was spectacular with fantastic views of the Douro Valley.

  Disliked: It was a little difficult to drive to as the roads are very narrow and steep.

  This is an amazing place, Elizabeth is a top notch hostess, and HIGHLY recommend!

  Liked: It was absolutely beautiful! Elizabeth was a fantastic hostess. The wine yard was amazing, the views breathless, and very comfortable! Loved Momma!

  Quinta do Fojo exceeded expectations, and the hostess works hard to provide extra service

  Liked: Wonderful views from the hilltop pool. The bathrooms (private, but not adjacent) worked fine. Breakfast included fresh bread delivered daily from bakery, plentiful fruits, and homemade marmalades. The hostess did everything possible to be present, communicative and hospitable, including extra effort to coordinate receipt of baggage being delivered. Don't miss asking about a time to get a tasting tour of the property itself.

  Disliked: In respect of the hostess and other guests, it was important to speak softly and tip-toe carefully/quietly during evening and nighttime.

  Liked: A fantastic little accommodation, great views, quiet, lovely room, tasty breakfast, swimming pool, friendly host and free parking. Overall a great stay, I would return any day!

  Disliked: Private bathroom outside the room (a minor inconvenience).
