  Liked: If you want to experience life in a Portuguese Quinta, this is the place to be! It’s off the main tourist route but still close enough to Peso de Regua. Our room was lovely. Breakfasts were amazing with delicious fruit picked fresh from their garden and everything else sourced locally and prepared by the lovely Fernanda. Even though she had very little English we had fun communicating with Google Translate. She and her brother Francisco gave us lots of recommendations for things to do in the local area. Their welcoming nature made us feel like part of the family. We also made friends with Fernanda’s cute cats! The pool was perfect for cooling off in the 37° heat we experienced while staying there.

  Disliked: All in all we couldn’t fault anything, it was absolutely perfect.

  Top accommodation for a Dourovalley stay

  Liked: We enjoyed our stay here.The view is exceptional, very friendly owners, very good breakfast with local and homemade produce, nice and quiet rooms, free parking available, swimming pool, what could you expect more, I wouldn’t know. Also good base for a magnificent loop through the Dourovalley along the miradouro’s on the N222 and N322-3 and visits to the wineries.

  Wonderful view

  Liked: Very kind owner, making whatever necessary to please the customers. The place is extremely clean and all facilities are new. Excellent breakfast.

  Disliked: Need to drive a bit more than 15 minutes to reach some lively place, restaurants.
