  Great location/Exceptional fresh fruit

  Liked: The location was good in relation to walking into town but you are up hill. The roads are curvy and steep. The 2 rooms we rented were clean and nicely kept. The bathrooms were ok. The breakfast was made for us each morning and the fresh fruit was exceptional. Everything else was pastries and breads. We thankfully had the whole unit to ourselves.

  Disliked: For a 3 night stay we had only 1 towel per person and limited toilet paper. There are many cabinets where extras could be stored. With only 4 hangers in each room it was difficult to unpack for 2 people. I requested more hangers and was told they would check but then never heard back nor did I receive any extra hangers. The in room bathroom shower had a broken shower holder so you had to hold the nozzle to shower. The drain also didn't drain well so you stood in a puddle of water as you showered.

  Great property with an outstanding view of the river. Lots of places to eat in Pinhao

  Liked: The location more than lived up to expectations. We had a room with the river view and balcony which was amazing. Fortunately we had the place to ourselves.

  Disliked: It was not easy to park outside the building as there is a lot of competition for any parking space.

  Liked: Amazing location and view. The breakfast was also very enjoyable and varied. Really kind host and great communication. We loved how peaceful and quiet it is. It is great walking distance to all the major quintas.

  Disliked: The only downside is the steep uphill from the city centre, but it is worth the views!

  Beautiful location, beautiful hotel

  Liked: Fantastic property. The views from the rooms are beyond beautiful. I could have sat and watched the world go by for hours on our balcony. The pool was nice and refreshing on a very hot day. We were fortunate to have the entire place to ourselves which worked out as a bonus as I didn’t realise the room I booked had a shared bathroom. The bedroom was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfy. We could chose our time for breakfast and the checkout time of up to 12 made time for us to have a lie in and enjoy the views some more.

  Disliked: We had to wait about 10/15 mins for someone to let us into the property when we arrived. Not an issue but just to be aware as there’s not always someone on site for your stay.
