  Quiet location, beautiful property, helpful host--great for both short-term or longer stays!

  Liked: We stayed in Helena’s beautiful house during September 2026, which was a treat! This 3-story house in a quiet uphill Pinhao neighborhood is perfect for either a couple or a family. Everything from a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds to a pool table and hot tub, comfortable reading nooks, a secluded ground-floor patio, balconies on two floors (perfect for wine hour!), and a washing machine. Helena’s house is spotless and beautifully well-decorated, and congenial helpful host Helena prepared our magnificent daily breakfast with a smile. We were at home in this spacious house while we enjoyed wine-tasting and a boat ride on the Douro River. What a perfect location! Thank you Helena for your prompt communication and congeniality!

  Disliked: Be aware that Helena’s house is a short walk from the train station by going uphill, using a combination of road and stairs. A brief taxi ride from the train station to the house is recommended if possible.

  Liked: Helena’s house was nothing short of extraordinary. Everything about Helena’s was great - comfortable rooms, plenty of space, well stocked kitchen and lovely views. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay.

  It was a wonderful stay in a beautiful house!

  Liked: Overall every thing was excellent! Helena prepared a wonderful breakfast! awe had read the other reviews on the breakfast and it certainly did not disappoint! We felt very pampered to have someone come in a prepare a wonderful breakfast for us. The house is huge and we had plenty of space! I would definitely come back again!

  Amazing house near wineries!

  Liked: Spacious beautiful home. Good location, walking distance to wineries. Loved the hot tub and pool table. We really enjoyed the breakfast as well.
